What a place, what a meal, I couldn't heap enough praise on the quality of food and the quality of service you get from The New Inn. We went for, set menu 2 with wine and even though my wife is a fussy eater she managed to eat everything except 2 mussels served with the scallops. I'd asked the waitress not to tell us what we were eating until after we'd finished each course, so not to put off my wife, which she gladly did. The wine complemented each course and I glad we went for that option even though we're not big wine drinkers, it certainly added to the tastes and experience. Would I go again, yes in a heart beat, oh and the espresso martinis were delicious too.
Friendly, efficient service & the chicken burger was delicious. I'm sure we had a whole chicken breast,a very flavoursome slaw & home cooked chips. I would definitely recommend The New Inn.
What a fabulous restaurant. Not only is the vibe of the Inn warm, inviting and classy, the service from the girls is top notch. Oh and we can't forget Chef's food. What a triumph. The food is exquisite, tasty and great value with January's lunchtime special of £20 for a fixed 3 course meal. Please continue this fabulous lunchtime option, as it's such great value. We will absolutely return. See you in May if not before. Thank you so much.
Me & my wife had dinner here last night for the first time. The food was outstanding & the service was brilliant. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. Highly recommendService: 5/5
I'd like to give this place 4 and a half stars as it was so close. Delicious food. The burger, whilst difficult to find a way to eat it, was really really good. My wife LOVED her soup, and the bread selection was tasty and interesting. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. My only niggle was my plate looked, well, boring. Either change it from a large plate to a wooden board, or add a dip or coleslaw, or both! Oh, and the menu was a bit sparse and lacking in choice three burgers, two sandwiches. Cosy atmosphere, classy but not pretentious. Excellent welcome and service from staff. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
A great deal of effort went into the delivery and presentation of our food. The scallops, for instance, were delivered on a bed of beach stones, which my son found a bit chewey! Be warned though, when they say blackened pomegranate, they mean cremated! Pudding was to die for though, can recommend the poached pair
Outstanding food and nice surroundings Popular for Sunday Lunch, and late lunch. Nice staff although a tad slow during busy times on the bar. Excellent garden which catches the sun, although local light traffic can make the outside space a bit noisy when it goes by. Look out for the Pewter bar, and original feature of the original pub. Sit in the Bar to eat or book the Restuarant. There is one large ‘round’ table which will sit 6 ? Pity they don’t have Wye Valley bitter on tap as the Butty Bach is too strong.
A fantastic Michelin standard meal, every course absolutely delicious and lovely warm service. A credit to the team and a massive asset for Herefordshire. Can’t wait to go back!
Called in for a late lunch after visiting Ross on Wye perfect choice! The decor in the pub looked superb however it was a beautiful day so we sat in the lovely garden area. We were given the bar and salads menus, so much to choose from and really well priced. The food was delicious, the wine was great and the the team were super friendly. Highly recommended. Wished I lived more locally so that we could try the dinner menu!
Excellent food and menu choices ranging from three course to salads and bar style. Friendly, efficient service. Reasonably priced. Very well presented inside and out in the well manicured gardens. Good access and plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
