We came here for dinner tonight on a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. The waitress and the chef were so friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious we had the calamari to start and the steak and ale pie and burger for main. We had a lovely evening thank you!Service: 5/5
We rolled up nearly 2pm after a long walk today and the staff were so friendly and accomodating for us and our dog, as we wanted to sit outside in the sunshine, they could not be more friendly. The roast pork was absolutely fantastic, one of the very best we have had, we will be back for sure. Thank you.
Great location for the Oldfield Forge. Room was comfortable above the pub. Food was great as well, one of the best burgers I've had so cannot really fault it.Rooms: 4/5
Popped in for curry night Tuesday. Excellent meal. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Efficient service. Well done Ash chef and owner, for keeping this superb community pub/restaurant going and thriving in difficult economic conditions. We'll be backService: 5/5
From the minute we arrived to the second we left we felt very welcome. Happy smiling staff, breakfast cooked to order in the morning with what I assume was local produce. The room was clean, bright and cozy. If you're looking for somewhere with good Internet, this isn't the place for you. Bit if, like us, you want some time away from the hussle and bussle of busy life and don't want interruptions then I HIGHLY recommend. All in all, we have nothing bad to say about this place. Its an old time country Inn and our trip was perfect!! Nearby activities: 30 minute walk or 4 minute drive away from the Oldfield Forge. Great experience. Food & drinks: Check with the hotel for restaurant opening times as it was closed for two evenings. We were advised beforehand though.
Lovely accommodation, immaculately clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Delicious and generous breakfast. Excellent local beers on tap in the barRooms: 5/5
Beautiful little pub with cozy rooms in this tucked away village in the stunning Heresfordshire countryside. Make sure to visit the Garway church steeped in the history of the Nights Templar! So beautiful, so peaceful, a true sanctuary Rooms: Lovely copy rooms. Nearby activities: Garway Church steeped in history of the night's Templar. Food & drinks: Curry night! Don't miss it.
Standard bar food but good service and very friendly, relaxed atmosphere and excellent prices. Great location. Will visit again.Service: 5/5
Lovely place. Good food. Bar staff very sociable..Rooms: 5/5
Had a meal here for me birthday and the food was great. We'll worth the wait staff very friendly and helpful. Biggest shock was when "The Chef" introduced himself he said he was a Farmer who likes cooking and I can assure you he CAN COOK . Best he pack in farming and turn to a full time Chef . See you again soon 10 out of 10 a lovely pub and lovely food
