Stopped in for Sunday roast at Easter. Great grub, decent beer and a nice atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating staff, would definitely recommend. Looked to get busy after kid's lunch time so worth booking
This was our first visit for a while and decided to do the set menu for Christmas, we were greeted with a warm welcome from Maria and enjoyed a quick pint before dinner. Well, the dinner was a delight, Max had exiled with his delicious menu, the Crown Inn is definitely worth a visit and you must stop for food. Would advise you book first. Thankyou both for a lovely evening...
A nice pub, enjoyed all the cricket memorabilia. A bit puzzled as there were only three tables booked from the time we arrived 12h15 to 13h00 yet when someone called to make a booking at 13h00 they were told no bookings until 14h00? I enjoyed my chicken roast but felt the portion a big small only to realise when we got home and I looked at the receipt did I see on the slip "small roast chicken" £8.00. I never once asked for a small portion. Thank you.
Lovely gastro pub food, I’m always surprised by what’s on the menu. Great own brand cider Kings and local Wye ales . The staff are all very friendly and it’s a great place to chat to locals with its open areas. There’s a nice sunny spot with a view outside on a good day
Lovely old English pub with modern twist. Pizzas are heavenly and cooked in a proper oven. Views from the front garden are beautiful. A great place for lunch.
Really nice pub friendly staff idyllic location. Good beer.
Some of the best pub food we’ve had in a while, quality food with great flavours. Very lovely staff, warm atmosphere - a very lovely evening
Glorious beer garden with countryside views, at the start/end of some great country walks. Lovely selection of pub grub - highly recommend the parmesan and pancetta fries! The pub’s own “Kings Cider” is a proper thirst-quencher to enjoy after a long walk.
Just called in on spec and had a meal there tonight. My chicken was really tender and served with tasty vegetables. My husband had fish and chips which were also very good value. Friendly staff. Worth a visit.
Everything you would expect in a country pub great welcome, super beers, very well prepared food and excellent customer service....bravo!
