We are visiting daily for 4 days this week as a reading group reading St Mark's Gospel. We have been treated very well and we have been very comfortable. Thanks to the Staff at the Moor Top!

Having been recently refurbished to a very nice standard we decided to eat here, I have to say the food was far better than expected and very reasonably priced. The steak was cooked exceptional well having never had hanger steak before. This is a great welcome to how the pub was previously and I will definitely be visiting again. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is due to staff not being particularly attentive, although this felt more because they were all new rather than a big criticism. There was a slight wait between courses and when asked for the card machine to pay the bill it didn't arrive, so we went to the front to pay, other than that it was a really nice e meal.

I had to organise a wake for a funeral and chose this pub. Brilliant service from the start with communication to the finish. Very efficient throughout. We had a selection of sandwiches with chips salads and cookies plus unlimited tea and coffee. All the food was of extremely high quality and very tasty. Throughout the staff were continually on hand to top up and clear away. CANNOT fault this pub.

Cheerful, friendly staff. Took a while for burger and chicken to be served but it was a Sunday afternoon.. Chicken a bit spicy. Burger very substantial. Chips good.

Recently renovated and is now actually worth going inside! They were making all the new menu food photos while I was in last. That food looked really good! Beer is good and wine selection is also good.
