Good for a group. We had a great time in a very sociable atmosphere. Food quite good. Poor wine selection. No French wines. Charge premium price for a wine you could get for £4.99 in Lidl

Great lively pub, very busy at weekends. Good selection of beers and wines. Extensive food menu. Fantastic outdoor area, especially in the summer.

The food and atmosphere here are pleasant. The staff are friendly. Small car park at the rear which you can claim back the parking cost and have it applied to your final bill . Overall a good place for a social drink and food with friends and family. The overall cost of food and drinks are reasonable and moderately priced.

One of those arsey nouveau traditional pubs with soul sucked out of it. The food menu offering good pub classics at rocket ship prices delivered with expertise and finesse of a primary school egg and spoon race. This isn't a nock at the staff but at the lack of training the must of been given. I doubt I will call again the had a chance to make a great family night out an excellent one. Funny most members of the family have delivered catering or event excellence so we could laugh at it.

Where to start. I’ve been in here a couple of times. It’s my local and I tried really hard to like the place. - last night I was rudely told to remove my hat (a wooden flat cap) by the barmaid. It’s a cold January night in Manchester. You’re a Lees chain pub, one rung above Wetherspoons. Have a word with yourselves. - beer selection is dreadful, no independent ales whatsoever. - food is unremarkable and does not appear to be fresh or home made. There are far better places to drink nearby. The Moor Top, Heaton Hops and the Plough are all close, have a better offer and friendlier staff. I live next door and will not be returning.
