Lovely design and great staff who are very keen to help. The cocktails were good. Food was tasty with some small issues. The lamb on the flat bread was cold, and the olives were just a few cheap cocktail olives - come on guys, for £3.50? Fantastic onion rings and fries. I will try this place again.

Lovely evening at the Boundary last night. The food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. The place was full and there was a great vibe. It is contemporary and relaxed. The live music was elegant and not at all intrusive. Dogs are also allowed which is an added bonus!

Decided to spend some time here with the family while we were in the area but unfortunately we would have been better off if we went elsewhere. The staff were unhelpful and cold towards us and the food itself was nothing special when it arrived after a long wait. The food itself was slimy and unappealing and overall wasn't worth the money we paid. Would definitely not come here again in the future.

Decided to pop into this cafe at 12.20 lunchtime and ordered my salad and hummus/flatbread straight away. Loved the vibe, one staff member taking drinks. Another guy - the manager I assume is checking if other guests are ok. My water arrives, eye on the clock knowing I have a meeting elsewhere. Tables around me start to fill up. Their orders are taken. I'm still waiting. At 12.55 I ask the flustered one member of staff where my food is and point out that people around me have received theirs even though they came later. She explains about the new chef who is trying to stay on top of orders. Manager still checking on others, my food is still being prepared. I tell her 'at LEAST bring the bread' - it seems my flatbread is still being made in another country somewhere. At 1.10 it arrives OVERDONE. A few yellow crisp crackers next to a pot of unappealing hummus at which point I refuse to eat it. I express how annoyed I am and to be fair this lovely lady apologises and calls for the manager to come and speak to me while offering me a hot drink on the house. Manager waltzes up another 5 minutes later and says, 'I heard you wanted to speak to me?' Excuse me? Shouldn't your duty as a manager, knowing that a customer has been subjected to unacceptable service be, to come willingly yourself and explain the shambles taking place? (Remember I've sat for 30 minutes and received nothing at this point). I eat the salad that's finally arrived clean, explaining that I'm hungry and feel tired by this point to explain how its cold and chewy and I wouldn't pay £11 for this catastrophe. He acknowledges the overdone flatbread and the rediculous wait to receive my food and apologises. The most absurd thing about all this is, he decided to tell me that 'we wont charge you for the flatbread, (?????? Ofcourse u won't - it was burnt mate so that's no favour to me ), tells me that we havent charged you for one coffee ( though the lady behind the counter told my friend who had ordered a coffee with me that we could have both on the house ) and charged me the full £11 for a salad that I'd never eat again. One of the worst services I've encountered. Won't be going there again.
