Sometimes it's best to let the pictures do the talking, and to perhaps limit the words to asking simple questions. So, here goes. 1. Would you pay £9.99 for this "club sandwich"? 2. Do you think it tasted good? I suspect that you already know whether I'll be returning...
Came here for a a quick meeting with a colleague. As I was early I ordered a late breakfast of sampling and eggs with a coffee. It was fine now issues and fairly quiet. It's a really convenient place before catching a train and a meal if you have a little time to kill.
No Disappointed Fish over fried, not really presented at all Beers choice limited : no IPA for instance The staff is cool however . Good and polite
The beer range is good, but I agree with other reviewers that the food is mediocre. I ate in the bar, and had a chicken burger with no mayo, the chicken was flattened and featureless, the included salad parts were uninspirational, and the side order of chips a bit on the small side. The service was quick however. Do stop for a pint between journeys, don't take your girlfriend's father to impress him and ask for her hand in marriage.
No mocktails. Not many non alcoholic drinks. Food menu is average. Environment was comfy and warm.
With our visit to see a show in the capital over, we rested here at Liverpool street station. Perhaps one of the nicer places on offer to have refreshments in a very busy centre waiting for our train home. The waitress was delightful and so was the surroundings and a great Latte!
Looks nice from the outside, but the toilet is a total mess. Broken tile in one men's room, with a hole beneath, the other one was out of toilet paper, the flushing panel's broken and the rest of the men's toilet is far from clean. All dust up the wooden walls and a broken soap dispenser. Tables are far from clean too. Staff is far from friendly, especially to each other. 1 star is too low, it's not that bad, but if you can, avoid.
nice and clean pub with good breakfast at Liverpool Street Station to go to while waiting for a train
Decent place to grab a drink or for meetings. During the day before 5.30pm it's usually fairly quiet but after it does get a bit packed. Prices of drinks are not ridiculous. The only issue is that the staff are pretty slow and if you are unlucky you could end up with the one who cannot understand you not being rude but someone asked for strawberries and she had no clue what the person wanted. Had to get another member of staff apart from that a decent place. Quite lively too.
Lovely cosy atmosphere although the price is a bit too much... £3.20 for a fairly ordinary latte... Having said that it's the perfect place to chill and relax; a variety of seats wet nooks to sit in, soft lighting... Despite the price, I still love to escape in there! I've never tried the main food but it always looks fresh and people look happy... Again good but a little over priced, probably reflecting the location.
