We live right around this place, and have heard that it was good. I wasn't overly impressed with the brunch, a bit pricey for what we got. Our waitress was having a bad day, which I don't blame her for, but not the bet service I've had. Nice decor, good location... but probably better brunch locations in London.
Very nice pasta restaurant with mostly friendly staff. Fresh pasta and some delicious cocktail choices. Maybe a little bit crowded at times especially if you sit by the window. Apart from that a nice spot, where you can usually find a seat for two or three. Recommended if you like pasta dishes!
I have been to this place a couple of time, Brunch is amazing with an original menu and lot of flavours and quantity is very good I'm often disappointed about the size of brunch portions. I also tried their home-made pasta an evening and thought it was very tasty. I will definitely go back again!
Eggs Benedict and the toast is simply . Not far from the Spitalfields market - so there's a great atmosphere inside and out.
Delicious, good atmosphere. Plug for laptop. Accidentally paid the wrong bill same ballpark amount in a hurry, and noticed afterwards and let them know for information - they were extremely apologetic and insisted on giving me back more than the small difference. I tried to leave it for them as tip and they refused to take it. Great customer service.
Lunch with work colleagues. Excellent food and service. I had the grilled halloumi burger with mushrooms and peppers with a side order of sweet potato fries. The highlight for me were their sweet potato fries, best I've ever had. Crispy outside with a creamy soft inside and very well seasoned. Loses one star because of the portion size. Slightly too small for the average guy. Prices were reasonable for location and food around £15-18 a head depending on your beverage, including the optional service charge.
A lovely atmosphere and a central location only enhances the fantastic food served here. Thoroughly enjoyed a Full English Breakfast, excellently presented! Very friendly and helpful staff are happy to assist on your moments of indecisive meal selection!
Delicious brunch, friendly service and comfortable atmosphere
Unfortunately I am quiet disappointed. We went there for dinner. Just the four of us. Since it sounded rather nicely we gave it a try. But to be honest: we should have searched for another option. The bread of the chickenburger was totally burned. It turned black at the one side and was uneatable. Also the side dish of another burger just normal fries were totally forgotten. Okay yes it is nice if the waiter trys to get the order mouthly. But if you don't remember them, please take notes! The lamb pasta was quiet tasteless. Since i am from gastronomy i think i am able to judge. But the pasta at least was really handmade. The rather unfriendly and somwhat unqualified service turned everything worse. I am quiet sad. Please give the whole stuff some lesson how to be waiter/how to cook! Cause the beginning ain't worse. Price is okay when compared to london standart. The place is also nice to seat. Oh just to correct the comment above: the size of the meals are totally avarage. I really hope for the owner to correct these mistakings and would be glad to hear of an positively change there to eat there maybe once again.
