Nestled between Liverpool Street Station and Spitalfields Market, The King's Stores is a vibrant hidden gem, with an ever changing selection of craft and cask beers, a carefully chosen wine list, and a fantastic seasonal menu to suit all tastes.
The bustling main bar is the perfect place for after work drinks and we are THE pub for all the biggest sporting action. If you're looking for something more intimate or a taste of our regularly changing menu, we have a dining room just off the main bar, bookings and walk-ins welcome. While our first floor boasts two beautiful function rooms, available for casual dining and drinks or for exclusive hire and events.
This historical pub stands firm in the rich tapestry of East London's past. It first opened under the name Hoop & Grapes in 1819 and was later rebuilt and re-named The King's Stores in 1902 as a nod to it's former function as the English Army's munitions store. The Stores (as it's affectionately known) even has it's place in Ripper lore as Mary Kelly, Jack The Ripper's last victim, fell only meters from it's door!
