Lovely restaurant with very attentive service. We had an early evening dinner and the restaurant was super quiet but a nice table by the window listening to liquid jazz music still created a nice atmosphere. The cocktails were superb and our shared chateaubriand was cooked perfectly. For a larger meal, I would say it is worth ordering a couple of sides as the overall sizes of the steak, single side, bone marrow and sauces erred on the smaller side.
Came here for my wife's birthday and had a splendid time. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Would definitely recommend for an occasion as the venue is vintage and beautifully decorated.Food: 5/5
Had an amazing evening with a friend here. From the beginning to the end service was impeccable Alexandra was very welcoming and attentive the atmosphere was wonderful & food was delicious. Couldn't fault a single thing. Definitely recommend for a great evening out.Food: 5/5
It pains to give this a 1 star for food but this is the reason. Booked for a birthday meal as we normal go round the corner to KOD for a good steak but wanted to try something different. Ordered 2 rib eye steaks bout to be served medium well, they both arrived RARE, now how can you get this wrong when your primary offering is steak. The serving staff replaced the whole meal good point but again both came out RARE AGAIN! Now if your the chef and your recooking because of a complaint you would think you would be all over it to ensure the same mistake is not made on the replacement. The staff again did offer to replace it for a 3rd time but we said no as I think all confidence was now lost and the meal spoilt because of this. They did give us free deserts so the front of house staff did try their best to rectify the situation but at the end of the day the issue is in the kitchen and that MUST be addressed

On arrival our coats were taken and we were led to a nice booth which we were pleased with, the first thing we were told however was that the a la carte menu was not on offer, on the website we had checked out the NYE menu and would have preffered the a la carte for the steak options... online it said you could choose Service was long. Like 3 hours for 2 set menus long. At first I appreciated the time as we were eating and chatting and relaxing but eventually the wait times got exhausting and we didn't want to be sat there waiting any longer. Overall I would say a set menu like the one we had probably didn't justify £85 a head. And we would have happily spent more than that on a really good steak experience. Little bit disappointed but I think they probably know as an experiment it didn't work, no kitchen wants such delays at finishing a cover.
Amazing experience! The food was delicious! Fresh, great flavour, great portions! My husband and I enjoyed the night. The wine recommended was great, the starters were delicious, the burger had great size, the Chateubriand was delicious with bone marrow, truffle chips and creamed spinach were amazing. We also had the prawns, perfectly grilled juicy! Dessert was really nice balanced! The apple crumble with blackberry was a great idea! We will definitely go back for more!
Quality and taste meet together in this place. A stunning place for a business lunch or dinner. Excellent service, served like in the movies. Warning in advance, prepare a wallet because the place is not cheap.Food: 5/5
Had a very nice meal here, unfortunately when we went early on a Saturday evening it was full of shouting, overly noisey hen parties, the staff were very nice and moved us to a quieter table away from the noisey prosecco filled females. Best to go during the week as you get the office staff from surrounding area and not so noisey. Staff very friendly and efficient, food was excellent. I would recommend eating here. And sorry to moan about the hens, but they were noisey.
Long waiting time, the food wasn't hot, and the steak was extremely chewy. The bartender got confused with the cocktail and gave it to someone else at first and when I asked about it, he just went to that person, took it from them and give it to me claiming that noone has drunk from it yet.Food: 3/5
