This is totally a hidden gem. We walked from our AirBnB and were a little nervous about it's curb appeal but the food made us forget our apprehension. Honestly, it was amazing, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Go out of your way, off the beaten path, and try it.
Forget that it's next to a funeral directors. Forget that it's probably pretty quiet. Forget that there's an open kitchen with a little too much fryer activity going on. The market place is a little gem near Portree. Highly recommend the seafood platter and the salmon
We were so happy to find this restaurant, very decent seafood, we got seafood platter, grilled catch of the day, more than enough for two hungry people. Highly recommend!
Very nice little restaurant. Service was good and food was good. We had the venison burger which was excellent and the lamb tagine which was good too. If the couscous portion was a little more i would be even happier Would definitely recommend the place.
Disregarding the location and funeral directors next door, it is a wonderful place to eat! 5 stars - well deserved.

Good food, good value. Would definately recommend. Message to owner: having a 3rd member of staff on would more than pay for itself:- customers would be served quicker so more customers per night. We waited a long time for our food. In the ~2 hours we were there 14 customers were turned away as there was no space.
Like others have noted, don’t be put off by the location. This is a great little restaurant. We had the fish of the day, sea bass, that was perfectly prepared. We also hod the Uig Bay lagostines that we’re delicious. The owner is the chef and sometimes the waitress. The kitchen is open and you’ll see you meal being prepared. Worth the trip up the hill to get away from the city center crowds and wait.
Very nice food. Everything was really fresh including the fish, burger meat and salad. Don't let the location or exterior appearance put you off, it's well worth it for a tasty meal.
We enjoyed a lovely meal there. Great soup for starters, then an excellent seafood platter. The standard of all aspects of the meal was really high and the service was friendly. Highly recommended.
