About

Manchester Food & Drink Festival pub of the year 2017. This stunning listed pub is the place to drink the freshest Marble beers accompanied by the best in seasonal modern British food

Story

The pub was the first in the Marble family and housed the brewery until 2011. This stunning listed building has 11 hand pulls serving the finest and freshest marble beer just a stones throw from the source, plus the best from respected guest breweries on cask and keg. We feel a good ale house should have low music and high spirits, laughter and tears, conversation, discussion and debate, friendly staff and regular irregulars! All this is accompanied by the best in seasonal modern British food from the Marble Arch kitchen team.

I was looking for a good real cider pub in Manchester and this is now my fave pub. Had three great flat ciders on when I visited, friendly knowledgeable staff. Absolutely amazing interior with mosaic tiled floor and glazed tile vaulted ceiling, stunning ! If your looking for good flat cider then its well worth a visit. Will definitely be back again when next in Manchester.
This pub as stood the test of time way all around it as been demolished or rebuilt this grand old building is still here as you walk in the first thing you notice under your feet is the sloping floor it's like walking down a slight hill . but this is a great pub with plenty of charm . with its open kitchen at the back . good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, and friendly bar staff. what is there not to like, also as an outdoor garden. Everywhere you look, there is a mishmash of picture frames and odd ceiling lamps .it as a great atmosphere. It's great to see some pubs are still standing and not being demolished as with The Marble Arch they cannot just come along and knock it down . Good old traditional pub, no frills . Just great staff , great drinks, a good food , if visiting Manchester pop in your sure of a friendly welcome .
A bit of a walk north of the city centre but a visit makes more sense if you’re taking a train from Victoria as I was. Classic, rustic interior. Lots of draft and cask options, the majority of which are their own. Didn’t have a chance to eat because the place was booked for the night call ahead but the entire menu looked top notch. A great pub worth the walk and would love to return!
Great little pub! Don’t forget to check out the lovely beer garden out back, too. Food was awesome! Especially the Sticky Toffee pudding!!Food: 5/5
Great pub! Fantastic selection of Marble beers in a beautiful pub building. The Sunday roast was stunning as well but you need to book in advance as it is in high demand!Food: 5/5
Ornate pub on the edge of Manchesters city centre offers unreal scran at reasonable prices. They have a 25% off summer menu which we of course made the most of! Great beer great food. Would recommend Vegetarian options: Burgers, curries, sarnies, fondue
One of the best independent brew pubs in Manchester, serving plenty of great beers. Popular with both locals and those on the beer trail, is a place with plenty of character and unique styling and atmosphere. A must visit.Service: 5/5
The Marble Arch is such a fantastically majestic pub, real Olde worldly, which has the most amazing decor and most importantly extremely well kept cask beer, I started with a lovely 4.5% pale ale called Norm which was a good choice, so i thought I'd try something a little stronger, i tied Marble Birthday beers no.9 peanut butter and cacao imperial stout which was outstanding. If in the Northern quarter this place is well worth checking out.
Excellent choice of beers friendly service, very decent fish and chips beautiful traditional pubFood: 5/5
Wonderful pub, very traditional looking. Food was excellent; good portions, great prices and very well prepared. Staff also very friendly - will definitely return when visiting Manchester again!Food: 5/5
