Food is stunning and great selection of beers. Very enjoyable. Often attend for Sunday lunch.
My second visit now and I loved the food both times. They have a great range of vegan and vegetarian options, including mushroom Wellington for sunday roast pictured. My partner had the all day breakfast and really enjoyed it, especially the unlimited tea/coffee.
We went last night for a quick drink and it was surprisingly lively for a rainy Monday evening. It always has a warm atmosphere, plays excellent music and is the perfect spot on a winters night.
Awesome atmosphere, lovely smoking area, reasonably priced drinks considering its town. Definitely recommend.
The stake and ale pie and bangers and mash dishes were excellent, very tasty and generous in size. The think cut chips are so so good too. One of the sides we ordered got mixed up, the waitress made us keep the wrong one and quickly brought our the correct one. Nice atmosphere inside, perfect for Sundays.
Beef kinda over cooked otherwise would have been great!
Had an amazing roast beef dinner with chunky vegetables, beef that cut like butter and tasted amazing and perfect roast potato's. A true dinning pleasure
