Fantastic pub, brilliant staff and even better music. A must when you're in town. Also suggest The Castle, good pub also.

A great local venue with a good range of drinks including craft ales. We went to a sold out gig and it had a great atmosphere. The bar is downstairs which isn't a problem and you even get to use real glasses rather than nasty plastic. I'll definitely look forward to coming back.
Great to see OCRMCR hosted here again. I love the attic room stage and had some great bands playing. A few seats up there would have made it 5*
Visited the pub for the first time , never again. Arrived at 9.00 pm next think I remember waking up at Piccadilly station at 3.00am in a wheelchair. Was my drink spiked? Staff don't want to know
Probably my favourite gig venue in Manchester. A great pub with fantastic jukebox downstairs and a good sized gig room upstairs. Plus a smaller room through the back for more intimate shows. Gigs featuring touring and local acts pretty much every night, at affordable enough ticket prices to be able to "take a punt on a random band"
Great atmosphere and jukebox, friendly staff.
