Old Manor House which was delightful. Lovely to see original features being kept. Bedroom was spacious and very clean as was the entire house Owners and staff very professional, helpful and couldn't have made you feel any more welcome. Food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend a visit for anyone who finds themselves in the town.
Went in to the restaurant for a meal on our last night. Staff friendly and helpful. Meal was wonderful. £63 for 2 - great value for money. If we go that way again would definitely go back.
I stayed here years ago and it was good then and to be fair it’s even better now, you are welcomed by an amazing building with free parking and several tables on the garden lawn which looks amazing.nWe were welcomed by the most amazing young man who checked us in and then made us the most amazing cocktails and brung them out onto the lawn for us, he done this several times and you could tell he actually enjoyed giving us this service.nWe were on the top level in a lovely well spaced room with all amenities with a sky light to let much needed fresh air in as it was really hot outside.nThe whole bar area is so relaxed with probably one of the best chefs in the area servicing the restaurant but it was fully booked so we couldn’t eat there but I have in the past and it is amazing. We sat talking to the lady who is one of the owners and she is really nice and makes time to talk to her customers.nI really can’t tell you how good the breakfast is here it’s all cooked fresh and the ingredients are high end and this shows as all the plates on the tables where empty, I also have to mention the girls waiting on as nothing was a bother for them and they are so friendly.nThis place is real value for money and is in a great location as the rest of the town has a lot to offer.nKeep up the good work as it really does get noticed even if you can’t see it whilst you are working hard, see you soon.
Golf break for 4 guys with 3 cars.nComfortable twin rooms, very tasty breakfast and helpful staff helped us locate car parking spaces at 7pm ish on our arrival.nHidden spaces rear of the building.nLess than 3 minutes walk to The Bush Inn for great beers and pub grub steak pies on our 2nd night.nWill certainly return and recommend to family and friends.nStaff all very helpful and friendly in all parts of the hotel.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and exceptional cooked breakfast - never felt the need to ask about the bacon before! Compliments to the chef.nnRooms are pretty good, but the beds are just double size not king and the heating needs some attention, as it was hot in the middle ofnth bnighr, and unnecessarily so. Pillows like pancakes, sadly.nnTidy and clean, a good stay - the staff put a lot of effort into making sure you feel valued. A night is good value, worth calling up to book instead of using the site.
