WELCOME TO ASPAVA RESTAURANT - HOŞGELDIN
We would love to welcome you to our friendly, relaxed restaurant. Set in its own courtyard just off Main Street we offer an authentic Turkish dining experience from food to decor to staff.
Freshly prepared to order from local produce and from imported Turkish ingredients we specialise in all Turkish dishes with a selection from the area from where the owners are from - Gaziantep in South East Turkey.
Enjoy anything from a Turkish coffee and Baklava to a selection of Meze or a full 3 course meal the menu suits all budgets.
We offer a wide selection of dishes suitable for Vegetarian , Vegan and Gluten free , just tell the staff when you book.

I was was impressed with the excellent service & atmosphere. It was also very busy on a Monday evening in early May. The food was tasty too. I tried the lamb shish kebab with rice and salad. The portion size was just about right. The minced lamb with vegetables and egg was great. I liked the bottled Efes Draft and the glass of fruity Turkish red wine. The upstairs dinning area is well decorated albeit a bit cramped. Perfect location in centre of old quarter of town.

Have been to the restaurant multiple times and everyone is always so welcoming and the food is incredible! Slightly pricier than other restaurants but it is absolutely worth it, it never disappoints.

Excellent Turkish restaurant in the heart of the delightful Cumbrian town of Cockermouth. This was our first visit, we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, we enjoyed chicken kebabs and two desserts. The chicken was tender, nicely cooked and the flavours unique. The desserts were beautiful, very much melt in your mouth stuff. The staff were very friendly and service was quick on the day we visited with a couple of other tables occupied. In all very nice food. Free parking on street. Lovely location. Not the cheapest, but very much worth the money.

Very nice Turkish restaurant.  We had Ali Nazik Kebab and Adana Kebab, and baklava.   All really tasty. The staff is friendly and served us quickly. Turkish music at the background.  We'll come again.

We had dinner and a traditional hot and cold Turkish breakfast during our visit to the Lake District. Great food and service. The friendly staff catered to our dietary requirements. We had to stop at the wonderful patisserie next door for a feast to our eyes and taste buds! We will be back!
