WELCOME TO ASPAVA RESTAURANT - HOŞGELDIN
We would love to welcome you to our friendly, relaxed restaurant. Set in its own courtyard just off Main Street we offer an authentic Turkish dining experience from food to decor to staff.
Freshly prepared to order from local produce and from imported Turkish ingredients we specialise in all Turkish dishes with a selection from the area from where the owners are from - Gaziantep in South East Turkey.
Enjoy anything from a Turkish coffee and Baklava to a selection of Meze or a full 3 course meal the menu suits all budgets.
We offer a wide selection of dishes suitable for Vegetarian , Vegan and Gluten free , just tell the staff when you book.

Excellent food, very polite waiters, felt very looked after even though I was by myself. The chicken was very tasty, and the flatbreads to start was a lovely gesture. Although definitely on the pricier side, you get what you pay for!

Excellent Turkish cuisine & their own patisserie next door too. Went for a very tasty breakfast platter, filled with a variety of tasty delicacies, with vegetarian options for my partner. Staff are extremely pleasant, attentive and helpful. Refreshing Turkish tea and coffee too. Some delicious treats available too and cakes made to order.

Our pick of the Cockermouth restaurants. Came for dinner and returned for the excellent breakfasts. For dinner we had the mixed grill and it was all cooked very well with nice chilli sauce. The bread is freshly baked and delicious. The desserts on display when you walk in are also very tempting. We tried most of them and I loved the cinnamon and apple tart. The decor is tidy here, very clean and new. The service is friendly from the owner and staff. They clearly have a hard working kitchen too. The breakfasts should be tried too. The cold platter is more of a continental breakfast option. We also had the hot breakfasts which at £14 are amazing value and more akin to a Turkish brunch. Great place this and it won’t let you down.

Visited last night, had such a good experience, the food was great and the staff are so lovely and attentive in their service! we are vegan and vegetarian and there are so many options that we can still have, which doesn't often happen :nnif you're planning to visit, take cash for tips, as they can't accept these on the card machine and they definitely deserve a tip!

We asked for raspberry cheesecake and got blackcurrant.  Didn't make a fuss.  However when only ordering tea for one, a latte and two raspberry cheesecakes then getting blackcurrant, I certainly didn't expect a bill of £21.60 Just glad we only had a snack there and not dinner!  Shame as I love Turkish food and would have returned. The cafe was clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful.
