Great find, just round the corner from Canterbury East Station and handy for the activity rooms on Wincheap estate. Welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable inside and a good choice of drinks. Food looks good also. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
I can only talk for the pub, not the rooms. Was an unplanned visit, was toad to the Kwik Fit over the road and visited while I waited. Wasn’t expecting much, but the venue is dog friendly, inside and out, staff welcoming, and was surprised by the food. I think the food was better in reality than the images on the signs selling it - normally the other way around. Wasn’t expecting Greek, but was good. It’s not a wine bar, or a trendy micro-brewery, but has character.
Incredibly good value for money. Lovely room with all facilities. Great location and attached to a great looking pub. Really helpful and friendly staff.Rooms: 5/5
The feta fries & London Pride +a seat by the wood burner went down well on a cold day. Great to be in a proper pub.
Excellent place to stop. Bed was sooo soft slept so well. Shower also worked well. Not far to walk to town centre and when guy behind bar told us about underpasss on same side of road sooo much easier as hubby hates heights. Highly recommend, felt so welcomed by staff and owner . People of Canterbury were so nice as a whole, looking forward to returning!
A very nice welcoming pub, looked after a group of us on 16th December 2022. A good all round atmosphere. Chips were nice.Service: 5/5
We stayed in the Maidens Chambers for 3 nights whilst visiting our daughter in Canterbury. What an absolute gem! Wonderful service and even got an electric charge point for the car!
Great find on visiting Canterbury. Bar staff are fantastic and very dog friendly. Highly recommendService: 5/5
After a long day of walking around the lovely Canterbury it was nice to come and settle in for a pint or two. Traditional English pub, great pint of London Pride, the only cask ale they had, and although we didn't eat, the menu looked good. Very dog friendly and also a warm welcome for humans too Currently sat on a very comfy leather sofa, bliss
Great service, really friendly staff and owners nothing is too much trouble we will return. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.Rooms: 5/5
