Excellent proper caff' located on the edge of Canterbury, Wincheap.. There aren't many great places to find an honest, decent breakfast around these parts, but this is one of them. And they're open on Sundays! Walking in off the street, you enter a clean, neat, simple eatery. Laminated menus offer standard fare: a number of set breakfasts, omelettes, sandwiches, lasagna, all the basics at reasonable prices. The friendly waitress took my order and quickly served our tea and coffee. Our dishes arrived pronto too; a table of 5 ordered ahead of us and roughly 10 minutes later we were ploughing through our large plates of food - Iooking for a great start to the day ... the place to be is Cafe Solo
I've been here for breakfast numerous times throughout the last 4 years and have enjoyed it on each occasion. Nice set combo menus to pick from and plenty of good ala carte choices too. Food comes out fast, tasty, and well-portioned.Food: 5/5
Fantastic café! Friendly staff. Cheap prices. Had an amazing breakfast here. Some of the best fried eggs I have had in a long time: no burnt or crispy parts on them at all. I highly recommend coming here!
Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Would come back.
It doesn't look much from the outside, but once you get in you are welcomed in. The staff are friendly and very quick to respond if you have any questions. The food tastes really nice and we didn't have to wait long. I think it took them around 5 min to bring it. We had sunday lunch. I also had a coffee and it was lovely. Kid-friendliness: The staff was very polite with the kids, they have children's menu and the kids enjoyed their sunday lunch. Parking: Even though it looked busy from outside, we still found a few spaces available.
Absolutely the best cafe in Canterbury amazing products not greasy good portionsFood: 5/5
Good breakfast, just a shame on the sausage, the cheap quality, apart from that enjoyableFood: 4/5
Best cafe in town. Lovely food, lovely staff. Always accommodate our big family no problems.Food: 5/5
Excellent in every way. Lovely food served really quickly by efficient friendly staff. Very highly recommended. Thank you very much Parking: Easy parking and spaces to spare
Not very impressed. I had breakfast there yesterday. The Tomatoes, bacon and mushrooms were quite nice but the sausage was really cheap and bready and the bubble was a joke; I didn't think there was any at first but is was hidden by a slice of tomato, seriously, it was about 4mm deep and would have fitted on a modest spoon. Also I'm sure the menu said tea or coffee were included but we were charged for drinks on top.
