Lovely quaint little pub with a really nice feel and atmosphere. The pub benefited from a cozy outdoor area to the rear, a bit of a sun trap which I loved and shaded area too. A great menu at reasonable prices.. we did not have time to sample the food but enjoyed a lovely alcoholic beverage. Prices slightly steep but guess that's Canterbury prices The staff were very friendly along with the what appeared to be regulars. Toilets clean and tidy. All in all and lovely, jolly little pub. We would return.
Very friendly staff, great food the curry is to die for and cold drinks. So pretty much everything you look for in a pub! Will visit again.
Good town centre pub. Couple of lads behind the bar were both friendly, cheerful and efficient but was very shocked to be charged £3.50 for a lime and soda! Extortionate po rice even in an economic crisis. I will not be returning anytime soon.
This place gets top marks as a quaint English Inn. Something is missing, maybe atmosphere earlier in the evening but certainly a decent range of beers. Still not bad for a quick pint. To be fair it could be a banging pub with a decent band on but unfortunately we didn't experience that.
Quaint place to get drinks. The bartender was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. If you’re around the area and looking for a place to grab a drink don’t look any further!
Not a bad pub nothing special and not a lot on their food menu , would use again for a drink but wouldn't eat in there. Nice polite staff though
Visited mid week for lunch, good service by friendly staff but food was poor, ordered a fav haddock and chips, fantastic tasting chips, served with mushy peas, sadly fish was far from fresh, disappointing visit.
Dashed in to get out of the rain. Lady who served us was very welcoming and had a chat. Lovely pub and would be happy to go in again on next visit
One of the nicest cheeseburgers in recent memory. Lovely staff shared their chocolate with me and made me feel like a regular.
A nice central place to grab a drink and watch sports. Inside and outside seating on the main high street. Unfortunately food took a long time and was burnt when it came out, the steak pie if not burnt would have been very good. The cow motif on the pie is a nice touch
