The hotel is very modern from the outside and inside but it doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location and the restaurant and food was OK not great. My suite was large and bed was comfortable. I was expecting a lot more from the hotel but I didn't connect. OK hotel.Rooms: 5/5
We love staying at this hotel and returned having booked the summer special DBB rate. This suited us perfectly, with car parking, breakfast, £35 per person towards food and even a bottle of wine for our meal. To top it off we received a room upgrade, which we were really pleased about. We enjoyed the food in the bar and the service is always excellent. The staff at check in and out were really friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be returning to the Lowry for a treat break Rooms: Rooms are always immaculate and tasteful decorating throughout. Walkability: Easy and convenient to walk into the main shopping area and within reach of multiple eating venues.
Fantastic stay. Fabulous room, amazing service throughout our stay from all the members of staff. The DBB offer, which included parking, was great value. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next trip to Manchester.Rooms: 5/5
Birthday Treat! From the moment we arrived, the ease of parking and the warm welcome at check in, our few days away got off to good start. We arrived really early, but no problem 1 River view room was available, and the other would be ready on our return from sightseeing! Fabulous room- Beautiful bed linen- Super comfortable bed- Clean- Extra Birthday treats! Breakfast very high standard- excellent selection. ALL THE STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL! Welcoming- Professional- Efficient! The standard of hospitality training was evident, and the general attitude, courtesy and care, must filter down from the top. WELL DONE Our 3 Days In Manchester was made extra special by staying at the Lowry. Convenient for sightseeing or shopping. We will hopefully return and look forward to eating in the main restaurant, which was unfortunately closed on both evenings we were there- really the only slight disappointment. However this didn’t take away from a fabulous getaway! Thank you all so much! Lovely stay at the Lowry Hotel. Hotel is beautiful in decor, and has a health spa, restaurant, bar area, and a nice little verranda where you can sit and enjoy drinks when the weathers good. Loved the artwork displayed around the hotel. The room was the biggest we have stayed in so far. Very spacious, huge comfy beds and nice design The reception staff were great and the bar/restaurant manager from Argentina was so friendly and inviting.Can't wait to come back
Fantastic location and excellent customer service. Booked a meeting room for the day for 12 delegates. Food provided throughout the day far surpassed the expectations of the menu provided beforehand. Staff was welcoming from the outset and were on hand to handle any queries or requests. The food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend using this venue for meetings and it is excellent value.
We stayed over here for a weekend whilst visiting family and friends in Manchester. The room was spotless, TV, ironing board and iron included. Quick and convenient lift to our room which had AC. My only gripe which knocked the ratings was the free complimentary drink. Water, refillable outside of your room. Bit misleading and obscure
We were a hen group and from the start we were welcomed with bubbles! The staff were polite and friendly. My treatment was a salt scrub by Sophia she was very attentive and after the scrub I had a quick massage just the right combo!! My skin was silky smooth and I felt so relaxed!! I wished it was an hour instead of 25 minutes as it’s not enough but highly recommended!!!
Wonderful hotel very centrally located and the staff and brilliant. I have been lucky enough to stay in a number of high end hotels and the staff here were the top of the pile. They were attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat.Rooms: 4/5
We stayed here for the weekend. It is a very good hotel. What you expect from a modern hotel but this hotel did deliver. Breakfast very good - dinner menu relatively simple and not a massive choice but the food was to a very high standard. Bar is very pleasant but serving beers in cans was a bit naff. Couple of beers on draft would have been nice. My other observation is that you want people to chose this hotel for when they go to concerts etc but the bar was in a rush to close at 23:30. You know when the big events are on why not hold some staff back for late night drinks?
