A great hotel. Service is good. Free parking while staying at the hotel. The only downside was our room was next to the lift which we could hear all night. Room was great. Fridge stocked with water, cookies, fresh milk. Breakfast was great - buffet style. Rooms: Room was luxury. Bed was huge. A downside was it was next to the lift which was going all night and we could hear it. Nearby activities: Lots of places to visit, places to eat. It was near to the centre to walk anyway. 5 mins walk. Walkability: Walking distance to centre was 5 mins.
Attended a wedding here recently and had a fantastic evening. Don't be put off by the exterior - the interior is lovely and has clearly been redone recently to a very high standard. Everything was clean and tidy. The bar is lovely and the main function room was beautiful - designed like the inside of a ship. The food was good and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I got a vegetarian meal. There was a sparkly light-up dance floor, too! Noteworthy details: It really is like being inside a liner!
Rooms, sorry, cabins, nice and clean, bathroom a little small but functional. Windows open in room which is good because it keeps the room cooler and bad because I was over the main entrance and even on the 6th floor could hear the boy racers and noisy residents returning from a night out. Staff were polite and helpful. Location is less than 2 minutes from the station, and honestly? A little too far from the waterfront to get away with the name and the theme, but each to their own.
The hotel is literally next to the train station. The whole hotel and the room were very clean. The staff, especially the ladies at breakfast, were extremely friendly. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again. The only negative thing: Can be very noisy from the train station and the seagulls, but if you take ear plugs like we did, you will sleep good and not notice it.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, me and my mum stayed for 2 nights great it’s value for money, we could not fault it. It’s in the perfect location it’s around the corner from Liverpool Lime Street, walked distance to the docks, the Liverpool tour bus even stops around the corner. We would highly recommend this hotel!! Rooms: Our rooms was impeccable! So clean, tidy and fresh. We loved the cruise ship decor !! Which was transferred throughout the hotel all the fine detail enhanced the experience as well
Ideal for a train lover. My room had a view of all the platforms. And you could enjoy the sound of every announcement starting very early in the morning. The hotel inside was fine. Big fish tanks are cool. Fun theme. The room was ok. Kind of annoying not to have plugs by the beds. Instead 4 usb-a plugs. Which is ok. But most phones are usb-c now - so it’s a bit out of date again. Parking was very convenient and staff were great.
The best experience ever! A special shout-out to Danielle on reception who went above and beyond for us, silly me forgot my bouquet, Danielle jumped into action, she didn't just grab the bouquet from my room, she ran! Yes ran down to St George's to make sure I had my bouquet, from the moment we arrived at the hotel she made us feel like royalty, huge thank you and please enjoy the small token of our appreciation we left for you. Also big shout out to Emily also from reception I apologise for the rudeness you had to endure from my visitor! I am so embarrassed You are fabulous and provide an amazing experience, you are fabulous and didn't deserve the treatment you received I am so sorry lovely. Room- we stayed in a pent house suite603, oh my gosh! It was fabulous. Plenty of space, a comfy sofa, huge bed and the the spa bath was exactly what was needed after our busy 2 days. We will 100% be booking again, possibly for our 1st anniversary . Food- The bar was lovely ,2 for 1 on cocktails, I did have a meal-the bacon cheese burger was delicious , my only negative moment in there was that it took over 1 hour for my burger to arrive, the bar staff were fabulous and did chase us my order a few times so no fault on them. Breakfast- Plenty of choice, I had some fresh melon, mini muffins and some of the cooked breakfast with plenty of lemon water, the food was all fresh and good quality. The carpark is secure and gives you peace of mind while parked in a city centre, we came back late from setting up our event and the gates were chained , but reception radioed for assistance and moments later we gained access to parking. Fabulous spot, beautiful decor We can't wait to come back Thank you
Stayed last night in the hotel. Was very pleasantly surprised. Great location for town centre, train station. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Small fridge, hairdryer. Robes and slippers provided in our room. Lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was great, fresh and a fantastic variety with tea coffee and juice. Thankyou Rooms: Spacious clean and very comfortable beds. The hotel was all very clean. Walkability: Walking distance to whetherspoons, train station and lots of bars and shops. Food & drinks: Breakfast was fantastic fresh and a great variety
Stayed here with work. As others have mentioned the rooms are tired. The wallpaper was peeling and had holes in it. Fittings were coming away from the wall. Although it was relatively clean the worn out nature of the room made it feel dirty. The walls are very thin. The big problem for me was the room was so hot and stuffy even though it wasn't particularly warm outside. The window can only open a crack and there is no aircon. The fan provided was loud and only succeeded in pushing hot air round the room. This all lead to a hot and uncomfortable night. The breakfast was ok. The communal areas seemed nice. The free parking is secure and is a useful addition.
A lovely place to stay. It's near the city centre and near the Liverpool Lime Street Train Station. The rooms are good, the food and beverages are also good and the staff is very professional. There are Laundry places around 2 - 3 miles near the hotel. Overall it's a good place to stay. Nearby activities: You can visit the City Centre, Museum, Central Library and a few other Pubs and bars nearby. The Medical Store is also nearby. Food & drinks: Many places are available for food you'll love it. Explore the city centre and surroundings.
