PUB OF THE YEAR 2010. We are a traditional village pub that offers fine beers, pub food and great entertainment with Live Music at weekends. There is also the function room which is FREE to hire and Bed & Breakfast and we also have a great Golf Society!

Dropped in for a couple of drinks with some friends on a Friday evening. There was live music in on half of the bar. Couple of beers on tap (TEA, Otter and Boom Bar) and a couple of lagers. Beer tasted ok so must have been well kept. We sat in the half with a pool table, under the darts board. Staff were friendly and the other patrons didn't seem to mind us invading for a few hours. Had a welcoming atmosphere. Was nice to find an old fashioned feeling local pub. Car park was almost full when we arrived but there is room to park on the side road too. There is a small patio area, decking and function room out the back of the pub.

Very dated, not clean, health and safty could do with visiting, only one bathroom to six rooms no unsuite, only route to rooms are through the bar or kitchen, music from bar very load in rooms very basic sleeping arrangments, for £29. 00 anight stay, i would go find a travel lodge and pay a little extra.....
