Lively place, Nice atmosphere for a pre-Princes Hall show. Drinks are good value and the staff really friendly, so all in all, worth a visit early evening. We didn't try the food but lots of people were eating and it looked good.
We spent 1 night here, had dinner and breakfast and have to say it was a 5* experience. The room was immaculate and fully stocked with soft fresh towels, toiletries, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottles of water. The food was delicious and all the staff were lovely and professional. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. - Thanks Queen Hotel
Nice food. Good location. Popular with the locals. Just a little bit too noisy for me but that's because I'm old!
After the apartment we booked was cancelled we booked the Queen Hotel. We were going to the theatre across the road so it was so handy. The room we had was a family room but it was a lot bigger than expected. Beautiful room. And we only had to walk downstairs for our breakfast. We had a meal when we arrived too before going to watch the Queen tribute at Princes Hall. We loved it so much we booked a second night to stay there. The staff were amazing. Will definitely be back
Use the Wellington centre car park. As car parking can be booked for many days at a time. It's a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Huge choice of beers in bar. Rooms are accessed by stairs. Very comfortable rooms with very good sized bathrooms and aircon in main room. Would visit again. Well priced.
