First visit here and it was OK but could be improved a lot. The rooms looked like they had a refresh with a lick of paint recently, but still looked tired. Our room, the light switch by the bed didn't work and the window was pretty grubby. Cleanliness was also lacking with remotes and the hotel instructions in need of a good clean. The bed was comfortable and fresh linen. The room had air con but this struggled to make any impact. The restaurant served good food and the staff in the restaurant and bar were great. The hotel has a good location with Guildford and Farnham Close by.
We stayed for one night for our anniversary. Plus points were the spa. We got massage booked and the lovely ladies emma and rose did amazing job. We were so relaxed after that . Pool and sauna was also good. We were really relaxed after that. Great outdoor beauty. Had afternoon tea as well which was also good. Morning breakfast was also tasty especially the veg sausages .must try. Night reception lady was also very courteous. Hotel room was also good. Only minus was the person in the morning when he checked in. He was not that welcoming. I asked for a room with a view he didn't even check to be sure. I mentioned it's our anniversary and I thought may be the hotel could have done some sparkle or something special in the room to make us feel special that day. And there was no mini fridge in room. Rest all was superb and I can come again too.
Our party had a few problems like rubbish left in room and the cot for a child not having any kind of bedding on it. Some people struggled to even contact the hotel to book. the rooms were hot as it was a heatwave but they did provide fans but the windows don't open much so was still too warm. Some rooms ran out of cold water in the morning which was weird. The breakfast was very good. The man on the desk was alone and it was his first day. I didn't use the spa but heard it was nice. Overall a nice hotel but understaffed and the service is suffering for it.
Being in this place for a few days I want to say that it definitely worth visiting. Spacious rooms, good location, incredible views. It has a swimming pool, steam and sauna that make this place really good. I had amazing time and hope to come back there again.Rooms: 5/5
Went for a spa day recently, we had the Afternoon Tea package, and it was excellent value. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was great. The back massage was just perfect - thank you!Service: 5/5
We had our Xmas Works do there. Brillant night. My husband picked me up and parked to wait for me. 23.50 to 00.10. Today my husband received a £100 parking fine. No clear signs. It was dark. Absolutely disgusting and from reading reviews no choice but to pay.
TESLA driving WATCH OUT at hey are scamming you! We pulled into this location to charge a Tesla at night it was dark and there are no clear signs to suggest that you have to put your vehicle registration number into a computer in reception at the hotel. They are also very quick to find you once you have left this location. Trying to speak to the company who runs their car park is extremely difficult as they have no phone number and their response is continuously automated with the threat of taking you to court if you don’t pay the fine. I know this review is not about the hotel, however looking at other review sites you can clearly see that they’re trying to make money out of people charging the vehicles. A better solution would be to do what other hotels do which is offer a 10% discount on any drinks purchased on site as a Tesla owners always like a nice coffee while we wait for the car to charge. Also please be aware there is no data suggesting that this is a paid car park on the main Tesla dashboard.
Nice place. Staff friendly. Evening meal good, Clean room. But .... Swimming-pool cold, and breakfast, not great. Registered car on arrival and the next morning, which was easy so hopefully no fine.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed for a work-cation week, this is my 5th stay, I absolutely love this place. The staff are amazing and on multiple occasions Tom, the reception and cleaning staff have gone above and beyond for myself and children. I love the pool and spa area, a clean, relaxing stay with great amenitiesRooms: 5/5
Rooms were really nice, the bed was very comfy, the shower was ok but the room was HOT! Had to open the window to sleep! The breakfast was really good too with a steady flow of freshly cooked stuff.
