Brilliant bar with small seating area outside. Great atmosphere.
Old pub off the beaten track. Good local beers. Polite bar staff who let us taste the beers and even offered to top up my wife's pint after she spilled some
I have been here many times, a great starting point with friends for an evening out. One of the best places to have a great city drink. I am fast becoming a regular and can happily say this place is clean, has very friendly staff and a really great place ! A hidden gem.
Nice quiet place a bit off the beaten path
Perfect pub if you want a pub. Only downside was the slow server who was more interested in gossip than service. However, certainly worth the wait
Nice old pub tucked down an Alley. 3 real ales on of a good quality. This place and the Royal Oak are a must if you like a slightly off the mile pub. Eastern European bar lady was friendly, very easy on the eye and was happy to change my first pint which was the bottom of the barrel.
A proper bar. Good selection of beer. Not one for people with younger children
Cosy little pub with reasonable prices. I'm sure Mr Best would still approve!
Always nip in for a drink if early for a train down South. Better than Waverley Station bar by far.
