Great pub! Filled with locals right in the center of the city. There were a group of people playing traditional folk music, great atmosphere with very friendly staff. The space is small and thus helps to the atmosphere.
Great place for an American to try her first haggis. Which was tasty, btw, although have nothing with which to compare. Upstairs window seat was a beautiful location to watch the street below.
Never will go again after our visit on Tuesday I was insulted and heard older people being insulted by the guy who's do loud we could not hear ourselves think p. S I was only spending time with with my friend waiting for our train never ever will go back

Great wee pub many a happy time drinking here but with a lot of pubs in Edinburgh the state of the toilets let's it down, yuk!
Great wee pub. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Price of drinks is reasonable. Gents toilet are downstairs , not good if you can not get down or up if your disabled. The ladies toilet is upstairs beside the main bar. Can be busy at peak times of the day.
