Story

The Tron is located in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town and takes its name from historic church The Tron Kirk situated opposite us in Hunter Square.

We invite you to enjoy our food and drink deals throughout the week, as well as our superb value for money midweek drink deals which are available from Tuesday until Thursday. Please ask your bartender for more details, or contact us directly.

We are a family friendly pub during the day with dedicated family seating areas on our top bar, with limited additional seating possible on the middle bar.

Book beforehand. Great and friendly table service. Good one way system, but a lot of pull only doors to negotiate your way to a piddle
Enthusiastic bartender who encouraged try before you buy when it was quiet. Tried an ale from Stewart's Brewery around a fiver a pint. Soon got busy in here with about 30 students arriving. Good for sports and quiz downstairs
Staff were very helpful and the food and atmosphere were great, but the only issue was that there was no wifi or signal so phone ordering was challenging.
Having been full refurbished in September '17 the venue is looking much better and to a good standard. Better menu, with a discounted limited lunch offering. Great improvement.
