Pretty much empty when I called on a Sunday evening. Pleasant greeting from Mein Host and well kept drinks. Ask for the house spirits otherwise you will be served the premium.Service: 3/5

From the moment of walking in, there’s a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere. Whether you’d like to just have a casual drink with friends or dinner with your family, there’s an area to cater for all. There’s a pool table and a separate area to play darts. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble; every staff member that interacted with us had a smile on their face! The food menu is vast and very tasty, ranging from traditional Indian food, to indo-Chinese and Nepalese. Would defo recommend will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: A selection of options from the menu! Parking: Parking is available on neighbouring roads Kid-friendliness: Family orientated
Good local pub. Great beer choice and nice and cheap.Service: 4/5
Small local pub, cheap pints - and you end up having a good laugh on Friday nights when the karaoke is on. The hygiene however is really bad, the gents toilets didn't have a door until recently. The place has recently been refurbished with new upholstery.
Recently decorated, polite staff, cheap beer and served well. Show sport on several screens. Good 'local pub' without the ridiculous prices to be found nearer to town and Broad St in particular
Really nice down to Earth pub with nice clientele and staff, good jukebox, pool table, decent prices, and a small walk or bus to Broad Street after closing time, can highly recommend.
Local pub with, not only for sport fans. Much bigger than looks from outside. There is no much choice in this area so when you thirsty you will value nicely poured, not overpriced pint.
