Story

At Velvet Music Rooms we pride ourselves on putting our customers first. You will always receive a top class experience with us as our venue transforms from an inviting comfortable bar by day, to a vibrant, jumping club by night.

Split across two floors Velvet Music Rooms is Broad Streets largest independent bar/ nightclub serving up a delicious menu of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, ciders and champagne. Situated at the top end of Broad Street we’re two steps away from top class hotels such as The Hampton. With award Winning Staff and an award winning venue our customers are guaranteed an amazing time with us. Velvet Music Rooms offers the perfect setting for hen, stag and birthday parties with two large seated booths to accommodate. The top floor,also offers a lush seating area for ViP’s with table service optional and an undeniable nightclub feel.

We are very excited about our newly rebranded venue which will feature a unique and exciting mezzanine level which can be hired out for your Christmas party. “Party Above The Bar” on the most exciting VIP area giving you a bird’s eye view of all the revellers below!

Great service. Freshly made food. Would definitely be returning
We visited just as Tier 2 of the lockdown had started and the safety measures in place were intense. Friendly staff, played pool on their ONLY pool table which is disappointing but enjoyed our time there. £6.40 for two pints of coke is abit much though, only thing to spoil our visit.. overall decent though.

Waiter was very nice and polite. Cocktails are wonderful. Food since lockdown is not as nice and too oily. I would reccommend it as a place for drinks and good service. But not for food. Will defo go again and encourage others to check out their drink menu.

Brilliant venue and organisation during lockdown, excellent customer service, the waiters are friendly and helpful. Management very good aswell.
