Great old pub, nice staff and decent customers, odd leering Drunk guy lusting after young female bar staff but older male barman/ manager not sure which seemed to have it well under control and made sure the fella had left before he finished his shift and left.Service: 5/5

Brilliant wee place! We stopped in twice and cannot recommend it more. Amazing staff who go out of their way to help, great location, cracking vibe and brilliant food/beer/etc. Do yourself a favour and visit, I doubt you’ll regret it!Food: 5/5

This place makes the BEST toastie I've ever had. I had the chorizo and cheddar and mouthwatering goodness. The beer selection was incredible with cider and beer on tap. Fully stocked bar but what really made it over the top special was the atmosphere and friendly staff . Great place to chill. Have a conversation or close a business deal. I wish I lived in Newcastle full time so I could make this place a main hangout .
Came in for some food, got a beef Brisket burger! Gotta say, that was the best burger I've ever had.... and I've had a fair few burgers let me tell you. Will be back for more! Thanks!
