Gravy. It's ALL about the gravy. Now I'm not going to lie the gravy with the roast was savoury and tasty. Whether the plate needed to be swimming in it is another question. What is beyond doubt is that when your roast is swimming in gravy you don't need any more. But here at the Holmbush they LOVE their gravy. I was asked not once, but twice whether I had enough, whether I wanted more. Attentive to a fault. All that said, the Holmbush was a nice friendly pub with a decent atmosphere and decent beer. We'll definitely come again. And hopefully they'll offer us more gravy.

Great atmosphere and even better food and service. We had a party of eight and we were all severed or meals at the same time which doesn't happen very often.

Nice friendly pub with good food and real ale. but lunch was ruined by a nearby noisy child....

went out for a meal with very good friends on Saturday afternoon and came across the holmbush inn, great food and staff, we will definitely go back, thanks very much, regards david
