Celebrated my daughters first birthday party here and what an amazing time everyone had. From arranging to hire the function room right up until the party was over we was made to feel very welcome. Amazing friendly service from Sarah and Aaron. They couldn't of done more for us. Extremely happy with how the day went. If you're looking for a good sized function room with a bar and ability to play your own music through their sound system this is the place to go! And the drinks are very reasonably priced too! Thanks again, we will be back!!
Fantastic pub with a friendly atmosphere. It's the place people choose to go regularly. The prices are great and there is a good selection of drinks available. Many screens so great for sporting events.nDecent size car park.
I haven't been in the Star for 18 years! Last night me and some friends went in for their karaoke night.nnWhat a wonderful pub. The staff were lovely, the locals were friendly and the drinks were super cheap.nnWe'll definitely be back again and will try and bring some more people willing to sing!!

I chose The Star as the venue for my partners surprise 30th birthday. The venue is a brilliant space with private toilets and outside area for guests and Free to hire!!! I could not recommend the team more, right from booking they couldn’t have been more supportive and accommodating, allowing us complete free reign over the space, letting us come and test out spacing loads of times before the night and in the time before the party and just going above and beyond to make us feel special. The team made the surprise part perfect and were all part of the process, and on the night helped us constantly with clearing up as we went, making the atmosphere positive and energetic and constantly making sure everyone was having a great time. The Star is the best place for events and I couldn’t recommend enough. ‘Sorry for throwing you into your party’
