Lovely evening, first time visiting this country gastro pub. Decor and atmosphere are relaxed and welcoming.nnThe menu has lots of choice and a big specials board. I like that you can see the meats in a glass display cabinet, everything looked delicious. I had the steak special and was not disappointed by the quality of the meat or cookery, although do wish I'd ordered some greens to go with it.nnGood wine list, not too many by the glass but that's not a bad thing! I opted for the red of the month which was so delicious.nnLovely deserts with great presentation. Portion sizes good all round.nnWill look forward to returning
It's a wonderful place i had the Argentinian sirloin steak. Big shout to the chef Friday last. One of the best steaks i have eaten full stop. Lovely attentive waitress thank you. Great decor. Room. Thank you the staff of the dragon. What can I say you get what you pay for absolutely
Beautiful pub - inside and out! A bit pricey but the steak and chunk of lamb were both high quality and cooked with care. Generous portions as well. Nice to have new potatoes instead of the ubiquitous chips with everything although the men weren’t complaining! Excellent service too - will be back!
A wonderful meal with friends. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Great food, not cheap, but if you want a quality meal, it's well worth it.
