Visited here today for lunch. It is a charming old counter pub with no frills. The garden is large with benches and unbrellas. Take a menu grab a table and order at the bar. Inside is very small but cute and it's a tea room and pub. We had a panini which was £8.10 with a small garnish and few crisps. Not cheap by all means but very nice. Service was friendly and super quick.
The food is truly part of Italy. Together with friends we were happy to enjoy to eat well and then the originality of the products was exceptional, really fresh. We always come back because we like it. I have to thank Rudy and Edina as they always treat us well.
I have visited here multiple times with my family, for all types of occasions. We have visited for lunch, dinner and a drink during a walk in the beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and attentive and the pizzas are incredible. I recently had a Guinness here which is one of the best I have had outside of Ireland. Keep up the great work!!
Enjoyed a nice lunch in the tea room. Lovely food, friendly staff and a nice warm atmosphere. Parking was easy and plenty of spaces to choose from. Can’t wait to visit again!
Just had a wonderful afternoon tea with Prosecco at the Frog and Nightgown celebrating our sisters 70th Birthday. The sandwiches and scones were excellent and so tasty. All the staff are so friendly and efficient. Thank you so much for a great time.
Very average place, using low quality ingredients. I had a calzone with such low quality ingredients! Ham and salami tasted like just bought from the smart-price section of the supermarket. I would have had a better experience eating at any of the franchises that I avoid going for that same reason. Sorry to say I was very disappointed
Set between the towns of Horsham and Crawley is this hidden gem. Part pub, part tea room set in a small hamlet it's the ideal place to unwind after a hard day's work. The Toad Hall tea room has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and serves afternoon tea with unlimited refills. Cakes, scones, sandwiches and coffee are also available along with breakfast options in the morning. The sort of place you want to keep secret for yourself however the secret is well and truly out as it's very popular. Very busy on weekends so booking in the tea room. Tip: you may need a map to find it as it's in the countryside surrounded by many lanes heading in various directions.
Food superb. nice real ale. Friendly staff and Very welcoming, will definitely be visiting again
Warm and cosy little pub/tea room on the outskirts of Horsham. The couple who manage it are kind and knowledgeable about the local attractions and history. They generally have a good selection of local beers on tap, the tea room is darling, and the pub is cute as a button with all the frog decor. A very comfortable place to speak to locals or sit and read a book by the fire and watch the rain from the window.
Our first visit today. Enjoyed a nice pint in the bar before going through to take our table in the Lily Pad for a pizza. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the portions are very generous. Intend to return to try the pub menu and visit the tea room too.
