Had lunch on Sunday with family 22nd August. Food was excellent value and delicious but most of all the young staff were brilliant. Never been any where where all of staff happy helpful and professional all of the time especially our waiter and waitress. Well done all !

Absolutely amazing pub. Staff worked so hard during the euros final! Always asking if we needed a new drink if they saw the glass getting low, amazing service, 100% recommend... Food is absolutely lovely too &lt;3

Nathan is excellent and very nice. I would definitely return here for a stay the next time I visit Durham. If you want a cosy atmosphere come here!!  You won’t regret it for sure

Stayed for two nights.an amazing pub room was basic but very clean.Bed was really comfortable Nathan and all the staff couldn’t do enough for you.good selection on menu’s great food fantastic breakfast would definitely stay here again

Lovely old fashioned pub. Good service and very nice food. Plenty on our plates !
