After 26 Years of no substantial exercise a completion at work has lead me to returning to the Gym in my mid 40’s.nnJoining the Gym group was very simple and as a disabled person the system required a special induction which was with Simon at the Gym in Gosforth.nnSimon was very welcoming, made a point of ensuring I had everything I could need and provided a full tour of the Gym and equipment.nnHaving completed my first workout, I can say that the gym is clean, well equipped and the staff are really helpful.nnSimon and his team deserve a 5* review on their own, but the investment in the Gym shines through.nnLooking forward to my first session with a personal trainer.

I’ve been really loving getting back into my fitness recently and the classes are a great way to increase your fitness and knowledge. The gym itself has a good and varied amount of kit for both cardio and strength based workouts. The classes have been great for pushing me to work harder at my workouts and motivate me to turn up. The staff are all really lovely and knowledgable, and they’re always on hand to help and advise. My most recent couple of classes with Mel have really pushed me and I’m excited to continue my classes here!

I’ve been training with Maria for over a year now. I was nervous to go into the gym after having a long hiatus from fitness so decided to book PT sessions — and haven’t looked back! Maria is reliable and responsive to any fitness goals and has really helped me build my confidence in weightlifting and training strength in way I didn’t imagine at the start of my journey. It’s been a great investment in myself, body and mind.

Her positive attitude is truly infectious, and she goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and motivated.nnMaria is not only knowledgeable about fitness and health, but she also takes the time to understand individual goals, offering personalised advice that really makes a difference. Whether I need tips on my workout routine or a bit of encouragement during a tough session, she is always there to help.nnWhat stands out the most is how approachable Maria is. She makes it easy to ask questions and seek guidance, which has greatly enhanced my gym experience. Great local gym with lots of different equipment and plenty of classes on offer. Staff are excellent. They know their stuff and are very encouraging. I’ve not met all of them but coach Dave, Maria and Jamie are great.
