I signed up here for the proximity. The place itself is not bad, but it is dirty and dusty. I understand that it is open 24 hours a day, but it is really full of dust. Some machines should be replaced, and the toilets need to be reviewed. A better cleaning would not hurt either. Ninety per cent of the lockers should be repaired or replaced, to be optimistic.
Since attending the gym I have been focusing more on my well being and health. My trainer Terrence is funny and friendly. There is no slacking with him. He pushes you without mercy, and I keep coming back. I feel good at the end. Wouldn't have any one else. The best P T
Gym group walworth road is a very welcoming environment! The gym is kept very clean and tidy, especially by a member of staff by the name of Terrence who is constantly tidy up and encouraging and supporting gym member. He has been supportive and motivates me to reaching my goals. Thank you
The most welcoming gym in the area, the atmosphere is great and they have everything you need. Staff member Terrence has been absolutely superb in my fitness regime, his constantly interacting with gym members and keeping the facilities tidy for us to all use.
It's a nice place to do my exercises, and also there is a big space for it. Staffs are pretty helpful. Isaac is always amazing, attentive, helpful and willing to support. The best PT ever.
This review is from a person who hate going to the gym, who just find useless and see no point in going to the gym and wonder why and how others go the gym finally admitting how fun it is going to the gym and glad that I have choose The gym. I booked my first PT session with JD at the Gym Walworth road. I was impressed by his knowledge, approachable attitude and always welcoming nature. The daily gym exercises which are so easy to book on the app are one of the greatest motivation for me to get fit and to get to know the trainers. The gym always comes up with great reduction/joining offers, their gym membership is affordable, their app is so easy to use and the best thing is they have no contract. You can take breaks anytime you like. I have found all the trainers at the gym have different qualities. They all focus on different parts so you have a lot of variety to choose. Although all trainers are best but I found JD and Nelson the best with their welcoming and approachable nature. Always try to book JD's body conditioning exercise earlier as it always fully booked. And never skip Leo's HIT exercises who always comes with great varieties of exercises to lose weight. And this gym can't be the best with out the cheerful people coming in the gym. I have made great work out friends here and always look forward to have a great workout session. Everyone is so helpful and keep look out for others. This gym deserve 5 star but unfortunately the female bathroom and change room has let me down. I have found the toilets always dirty, broken and wet floor. The entire changing room stinks as soon you would enter which am sure management would look into. I have called various time to manage my membership over the phone and always spoke with friendly and helpful team. It would be really helpful if the gym also let us book by selecting a date to start so this would give us more freedom. Gym lockers should be allowed to use overnight as we bring gym accessories which sometimes hard to take it back as they are heavy. I understand people would be storing everything which they are still doing it despite not being allowed. Overall, if the cleanliness improved along with few things as stated above, this gym is a great place to work out.
I had such an amazing experience here because of my PT, Terrence. He really motivates me to show up for myself and workout. I think if he wasn’t there I would probably not go to. Thanks T!
The place is dirty and provides nothing to clean equipment with. They claim that it's being constantly cleaned but in 2 years I have never seen anyone wiping down equipment here so you just have to use sweat drenched benches and mats. There's often no staff at the gym and when there is they do nothing to enforce the rules. People hog equipment they're not using, drop weights over and over, and play music out their own speakers. Staff do nothing to stop people being really inconsiderate to others at the gym. On the app they say the capacity of the gym is around 170 people but they only have 4 mats for stretching. Some are often claimed by people who put their stuff on them and don't use them but won't let others. When you do get one they are worn out and dirty. They often close for days to "refresh" the gym and increase their monthly fees but all that happens is moving around the existing equipment. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone.
This gym has improved a lot since a few months now. The location is very good and staff very supportive. Luigi the Italian PT is very approachable and knowledgeable. He has helped me a lot when I had problems with my knee advising me the right plan of exercise to strength the muscle around the kneecap. I was very surprised because I have been to so many physio and hardly I had improved my situation. Very grateful for this.
The PT Terrance is a lovely personal trainer he works really hard and make sure everyone there is safe ..He is very friendly He puts his effort on his clients 1000% Thank you Terrance I am forever grateful You are 1 in million
