We were with a large extended family the food was very tasty. We were searved our starter and desert. We had to fetch our main course from a sort of carvery which I know would put some people off. We found the staff very friendly.

The is a beautiful old style hotel with very friendly staff. Probably the best breakfast that I have ever had in my life. Great sea views of the Malahide estuary and Marina.

Decent place to stay, beautiful foyer and good swimming facilities across the way that you can use. Room was rather small and dated which is disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was great. Overall a nice place if you look past the small room and slightly dated features in places

Went there for an exam and stayed for a night. To be honest it wasn't up to the mark. We booked a room for three adults. Asked for some tea which never came, wanted to order food in the room and was told that menu is there, which it wasn't, and despite calling three times to the room service .... No response!!!! Eventually had to go out for dinner. The drain in washroom was half blocked. The only good thing was that we checked out late because of our exam and weren't charged extra.... Overall I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go again!!!

The hotel is clean but the rooms are very dated. I went to brush my teeth late at night and found that the water wasn't draining in the sink and the iron board wasn't working . I called the reception and I was asked to change rooms at 1:30 am. The next morning the second room had the same issue with the sink. When I complained I was asked to change rooms right then ( I was there for a conference and this as during conference hours). I changed roooms for the third time. The room was nice and tidy but then I found that I had let behind my tooth paste in the previous room so I called the reception and they told me that I had to go buy one for myself from the store down the road as they don't even have complimentary tooth pastes. Lastly on the morning of my check out I found out that the hair dryer does not work . It was one thing after the hour. The hotel really needs to ensure that all amenities in the room are working . I would rate this hotel a 5 star at tops!
