Only popped in for coffees, cake and a scone but the Greenhouse is a very nice place with a variety of seating indoors including the conservatory as well as just a few tables outside. Surprisingly not busy at 1030 on a Sunday morning. The menu looked tempting and the short wine list reasonably priced. Will go again. But, note of caution: this is a cash or cheque only establishment - no cards accepted!
Very lovely place with lots of history, I had a peace of lemon meringue and it was lovely also had a vegetarian pie that was very nice came with new potatoes and salad, the tea and mocha we had was very nice, as those are our go to drinks we both thought they were spot on. This restaurant feels very comfortable almost like you are in a friend's dining room. The ladies bathroom was fine but I felt the men's need some work, new rad maybe some tidy work but it had character. They have a cat that is very friendly and a great member of the team, the girls who served us were very good but talk to the gentleman behind the counter if you want a history lesson he knows his stuff... Overall I'd highly recommend this restraint whether it be for a quick stop or a nice lunch/dinner.
Perfect location just 5 minutes from Kew gardens. This a great local gem, with a great selection of hot food and cakes. There's no table service so there can be long queues to order/pay at busy times but definitely worth it. There is a quieter area at the back of the cafe if you don't want the bustle.Food: 5/5
I’ve been coming here for some years now, mostly morning coffee with scones or cake and occasionally lunch. Food and coffee are excellent, always fresh with good flavour. Highly recommended. One gripe- maybe it’s time to ditch those plastic chairs outside, they don’t match the quality of the food.
A must visit cafe when you are in Kew. This place is so inviting and welcoming thanks to the great staff who are constantly and consistently providing you with great service at all times. The cafe is very historic too, try their greenhouse room in winter or enjoy the beautiful sunshine on the seats provided outside. Their full English breakfast is a must try, so is their ice tea in the summer
Dreamy cafe with a resident cat. The greenhouse vibe is spectacular. Not a lot of food options and none are halal which is disappointing. They do not take card payments 2022 so bring cash with you. Highly recommend visiting. Dietary restrictions: No halal options available. Please add halal meat as many customers would like it.
Came to over £27 for 3 coffee's and 3 cakes. We were told the cakes were expensive £5.25 a slice! as they are homemade but mine was very dry. Unfortunately wouldnt return. I guess they rely on tourists to pay these prices but as a local i would not return...
Prices were great and portions generous considering its in a prime tourists trap zone. Staff were lovely as a whole and I would not hesitate to recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Kew.
It had been a good place to eat. But quality of the food is not as good as it was. Lettuce that was brown with overcooked jacket potato. Did complain but ended as an argument.Food: 1/5
Nice place to grab breakfast or lunch or just coffee/tea anytime. Friendly staff and you might encounter one of their cats. Food: 5/5
