Excellent service once again..The Plum and Toffee Crumble is to die for!!! Sunday Dinner was out of this world couldn't fault anything...A credit to the pub and grub trade..Well done AAAAA+++++

Eaten there on several occasions and the food (quality & choice) have always been good as well as the service. Portions are so big (too big for me) and value is therefore good. Wide range of real ale (especially when they do their beer festivals) which are well kept albeit a touch on the cool side for me. I've always been made to feel welcome by all that were there. Too far for me to go just for a drink as I'd have to drive but I would go if it was closer. I'm off their again with the extended family today. Opinion based on fact and 30yrs in the licensed trade.

Just been for Sunday dinner with friends. Shirley's steak and Stilton pie is stunning server with mash, roast potatoes, lots of vegetable and Shirley's eternal gravy. The gravy is a local delicacy, all of her meat juices are kept in a large saucepan and added to continuously which make the richest and tastiest gravy you have ever tasted. Delightful lunch with chocolate and orange cheese cake and ice cream. Do not miss the George & Dragon for dinner or evening meals. Superb
