I have had my evening meal for three nights at this friendly country pub. great service (thanks Clare)and crew,first class food at sensible prices, car park is big enough but can when wet be a little dirty underfoot.

i went to this pub tonight with my partner and ordered garlic mushrooms,and pate to start with ,the pate was very nice but the garlic mushrooms were just sliced mushrooms with very little garlic brushed onto them,they did not come in a sauce ,the main courses were Gammon and egg and fish and chips,the fish was very nice but the gammon was cut to thick and very chewy, the most of putting thing was the eggs on top were Raw and when i pointed this out to the waitress the response i got was i can see they are Raw,No apology was given which was disappointing and i paid the bill in full which along with 1and a half pints of fosters came to just under £35.00..
