Fantastic stay! The owners are lovely and have great local knowledge. We wanted a quiet weekend away, we certainly got that. Make use of the beautiful garden, so well kept, and some lovely areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The summer house is also beautiful. Great facilities, such as tea and coffee, plenty of milk and juice. The continental breakfast was plentiful. Thank you for such a great stay. We will be returning
Have just spent the last two nights here with my wife for our first anniversary. Absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean. Great facilities. Loved the breakfast. The host Janette cannot do enough for you. A legend of a lady who bends over backwards to make your stay perfect. She even offered to drive us into town and offered to lend bikes to us at no extra cost. When we arrived she had even left us an anniversary card and box of maltesers. This lady sets the standard and I cannot thank her enough for her hospitality. Will definitely be back and will recommend to all friends and family. Thank you Jannette
Wonderfully relaxing, beautiful home, lovely host. Stayed 1 night during Rye Jazz festival. Didn't want to leave the peaceful tranquillity of the house and it's location. Highly recommended, close to Rye. Freshly cooked breakfast was a delicious start to the day. Spotlessly clean, was concerned about shared bathroom but only 2 rooms use it and its immaculate. Definitely will return .
I recently booked my friend into this B&B whilst her Husbund was in a local Hospital for 3 nights and I can not say enough good things about not only how Lovely and clean this B&B is but the service that Janette provides is that of a 5* hotel. She has an amazing "Can do" attitude towards every detail and was so helpful with being flexible and supporting my friend whilst she was going through a very tough week visiting her Husband in Hospital. This really is a Gem of a B&B and so it the owner Janette. I hope to have the chance to stay myself one day. Amazing find. Thank you so much
Very warm and accommodating host. The local knowledge of the host was an added plus and helped me to locate and enjoy some of the local attractions. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast fabulous and bathroom very clean. I will visit again and easily recommend it to others. Trying to locate it at night was a little challenging for the first time as I didn't believe my sat nav which actually directed me to the front of the property! The host saved the day
If you stay at the gem bed and breakfast, Janette will ensure your stay is as close to staying with family. On arrival, I got a few forms to fill in to ensure my stay was tailored to my expectations. Opal Room was amazing and my full English wonderfully fresh tasting in the morning. Thank you so much for everything Janette and see you again soon! Alexis
Such a lovely B&B Had the best night sleep there away from the noisiness of London. Very comfy beds and wonderful hosts. The area is great for walking round the Rye Nature Reserve and close to Winchelsea Beach
Myself and my fiance stayed here 26th May this year, host was friendly and knowledgeable about area, very clean house with lovely views and rooms were immaculate. Will look forward to staying again. Thanks Jenette.
A lovely break away from the city! A peaceful haven! In the comfort of a lovely and kind host. Close to Winchelsea beach too which is a plus. Highly recommended :Rooms: 5/5
Very homely but modern. Nothing like google street anymore. Amazing little b&b. Stayed last summer & couldn't rate any better than 10/10
