We were very looked after for accessibility and every member of staff was absolutely a delight, helpful and friendly. I paid a compliment to the manager on the evening even because they were so good. Really quick to respond to accessibility queries too. My only negative feedback would be that the vocals were lost in the mix on the night we saw Durry
The Garage is an amazing spot for live concerts! I went to see Stoned Jesus, and the sound quality was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the great experience. Just a heads up—Google Maps initially directed me toward the artists' backstage instead of the main entrance, so keep an eye out for that. Highly recommend for a memorable concert night!
Many thanks to all the team. Been to a few events here, but the wrestling shows the other week were brilliant To all the gang from ATTACK, NORTH and Hustle, well done
Fantastic medium sized venue. Easy to get to, with loads of drinking and eating places around before or after show. Clean facilities and friendly staff.
Good venue. Good sound quality, stage set-up. Reasonable bar prices. It's a thumbs up from me.
We went to a concert here the acoustics were good but the building is on the smaller side. The staff were all friendly, but drinks were pretty expensive, and the bathrooms were dirty.
Very nice venue, easy & quick check-in process to access, a bit small but still very nice atmosphere with a raised platform at the back. Sound mixing was very good compared to music at other venues I've seen! Bar prices also weren't ridiculously expensive for a venue that is, was £10 for a pint of Coke and Peroni as of 2024 August. Overall, a really great venue that provides a great experience, it's also right next to the station so travelling is very easy and there's a wetherspoons over the road for before/after!
The staff situated outside to manage the queues have absolutely NO idea on what they are doing. There are 2 venues, get told to queue in one place, then told it is wrong and then had to join the main queue. I wasn't the only one given these awful instructions. It's no coincidence it's happened to me twice now. Been made to look stupid by the staff. Only good thing is that the staff inside the venue are very friendly, helpful and can have a good laugh and they can actually do their job properly I will NOT be coming back to this venue even if the sound quality is decent.
Nice place, just in front of the overground and tube station. Pretty convenient. Big enough for the size of the gig I attended to. Stage was alright. Sound good enough. Lights were just a few and humble. Positive first experience there.
Absolutely rubbish venue. It clearly wasn’t designed for proper gigs anyway. The security were really ill-equipped, unprofessional, and slow; there’s barely any space inside when it’s near capacity; there’s no air; the stage is too small to be able to see the band properly.
