"If you’re looking for one of the best and only traditional pubs in Kings Cross then you’re in the right place, we should know – we’ve been here before it was the place to be. Take a 5-minute walk behind Kings Cross station and you’ll find us – just opposite Granary Square. We’re not just about the drinks although we’re proud to boast about our great selection of craft beers, cocktails and wines we also have a fantastic kitchen hosting some of London’s best street food traders. We currently are joined in the kitchen by burger barons ‘Cheeky Burger’."

Popped in here for the first time on a Friday afternoon and really liked the place. Really attractive decor, two rooms, and a lovely enclosed seating area out front. Beer is craft, rather than cask, but supporting primarily local breweries. Friendly staff too. The karaoke in the evenings doesn’t appeal, but each to their own!
Very much a dive bar type pub. Popped into this on Saturday night not having any idea of the vibe and it was definitely loud. Turns out it's got the chance for everyone and anyone to do karaoke which we were indifferent about but can't see it being for everyone. Need to be quite drunk here in my opinion. Smelt of stale pub but had decent selection and was fairly priced.
What a great find! This pub is within easy walking distance of Kings Cross St Pancras. A warm welcome by the lady behind the bar who actively informed me of the wide ranging beer choices. I received some great advice on what to taste. Perfect place to come for a beer and food. Whilst I didn't stay for it they clearly have a lot of evening events, from comedy to karaoke, which are hosted in a separate function room. Lots of character and a lively atmosphere.
Amazing place for a great karaoke experience! We booked the place for a work social. Everyone enjoyed the karaoke to the fullest. Great selection of songs and a little stage adds an extra bit of oomph! Food was excellent! The mini burgers and pork bites were delicious. Overall great experience!
A relaxed and chilled out pub, selling a really good range of beer and lager - from mainstream and small breweries. Usually busy because of how popular it is, I can understand why. There's a simple food menu, which is reassuring, with Thai food being prominent, but still offering burgers and wings! Tonight we're hoping to experience the legendary pub quiz, and try some of their food! You can book tables on their website! Don't worry about the busyness on the outside, there's lots of chairs inside too!
This is a really nice pub! Lovely space, great beers and the staff were amazing. In particular I was served by a young man with long hair. He was so nice and had great knowledge of the beers while I asked many questions, his service was perfect. I can’t wait to go back again!
Good local pub who handled our reservation well. Nice Sunday roast and the secret stairs behind the bookcase to the comedy club is Ace. Full credit to everyone who gets on stage. Really enjoyed it.
Came over Lunch from King’s Place about 100yds down the road. Ordered a chicken burger no fries and a pint for £18. They were out of Goose IPA so had to change the Keg, the barman made it seem like him having to do his job was somehow a massive inconvenience - I’ve worked a bar before, it is what it is, rather change it whilst it’s quiet than having to scurry around when it’s happy hour. My food came in a takeaway box even though I was asked my table number. Needless to say, there are another 50 restaurants in the area, won’t be returning.
I had my 30th birthday celebrations at The Star of Kings. All the staff were really helpful in the booking stage and on the night, the area we had was great, the DJ was amazing. Had the best time - thank you!
Had an amazing experience all because of Antony. It was very busy and Antony was on his own in the basement bar. He handled it so well and made sure everyone was safe and happy.
