Excellent all round dining experience once again at the Fisherman's Wife restaurant. Staff always extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful views of the sea from the window tables

Nice and cozy. Staff are very nice and friendly. The food is delicious. We ordered two round of Garlic lobster and oysters. The vegetable soup is very tasty, perfect for the cold weather. Everything is just so so good.

Having read some great reviews thought it best to give this place a try. Appreciate that is was mother's day, and it would be busy, however was disappointed. The waiting staff were polite and helpful, however Kayla was aloof at best. The views are really good, as people have suggested, and the restaurant decor too, and I guess this is what you are paying for. Found the food was fresh, however over priced in my opionion, which left me somewhat disappointed.

Good seafood restaurant in a great location. The food is consistently good, and, apart from well cooked fish and chips, there is always a specials board with more elaborate and interesting seafood dishes and a lobster menu to boot. Fair selection of beers and wine. The restaurant looks out over the beach and pier from a position slightly higher than the pier itself giving great views during both day and evening.

When we go to Whitby normally once or twice a year we go here on the first evening. A good choice of food, great fish & chips through to Lobster and mussels and more. The staff are very friendly.
