First time here with my family for a Sunday dinner. First impressions - the place was very clean and lovely decor. We were shown upstairs and the space is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble . The food came quickly and was delicious there was no room for dessert this time as the portions were big but we are planning another trip very soon to see what else is on the menu.
Dropped my mum off here for a meal with the rest of the ladies in the family,the pub was lovely! The staff were excellent and extremely polite and helpful.All of the girls said they had a great time and can't wait to go again,and the pub and beer garden were delightful! Cheers to all the staff! Great job
A disappointing day where we were forgotten about by staff, food wasn't great and tables left uncleared for hours so we cleared our own. We are still waiting for the cocktail menu we were promised even now, so again we went looking for ourselves. Cocktails were lovely, although missing refresher sweets as they didn't have any! The food was OK, just not what we expected, and didn't meet the standards that it used to be. Our group was here for 5 hours, and between us, we spent over £350 and watched the disorganised chaos go on around us. Don't think we will be rushing back, which is a shame as we have loved this place over the years.
Attended a wedding reception here recently and really enjoyed it. The cocktails on arrival were lovely and the food was top notch. All the staff were attentive and friendly and the outdoor area is great. Would definitely visit again.
The first couple of visits the service was excellent, very attentive, unfortunately the last visit on a Thursday late afternoon, service was dreadful. Apparently short staffed, we were left with dirty pots for ages, I requested hot water/tea which didn't arrive at all. Very little service all squashed on a little table etc, whereby our previous visits were much more attentive and given larger table for just two of if us, this time there were four of us, with same space!!nFood for the afternoon teas was excellent.
