Great beers, great atmosphere, and a great landlord. Food offering is first rate for the money (the curry is generic, but delicious, and is offered in three spice levels to suit everyone’s palate).
The Sunday Night Quiz is a local traditional. It’s free the enter and the prize is a round of drinks for the winning team. The quizmaster role is passed around, so if you like quizzes and fancy hosting one yourself, this is a great place to start. Although it’s free to enter, it isn’t rammed, so it’s a really friendly place to visit.

What a fantastic evening my family had at the Crown last Friday.Booked a table for 14 of us to celebrate my husband's birthday and we could not fault the food at all. The service was excellent and what a lovely man the manager is being extremely enthusiastic  about the food he serves and also his beers.This was the first time we have visited the Crown but it certainly won't be the last.

Whenever We visit the Crown Inn we find it has a friendly atmosphere, the food is always great and good value for money.
