Fabulous tapas... Great selection, friendly service and everything I've tried so far has been really good. I've returned several times and will do again. Worth noting that there's no baby changing facilities and it's cash only.

This is our second visit, and I'm writing this before service is gI've. Knowing full well that the experience will be be equal to or better than our first time. The food is out standing, the Steak is outstanding, but don't take my word for it. But if you eat steak well done, then go to McDonald's instead.

Relates to there first floor restaurant above. Service at Just Steak is normally faultless, however early evening today we experience what happens when things go wrong. Starters were faultless and onto the main course. Wife's Spider steak very good, my 15oz New York Strip too tough to eat. Handled well by staff and replacement Sirloin on its way. Just over 20 minutes wait and it arrives, Wife has completely finished her meal. Sirloin which had been ordered just under medium was completely black, dry and still chewy. The waiter passed and didn't need to ask, he could see from the look on my face. He advised we wouldn't be charged, I presumed this the minimum as I left it. Throughout this my Wife sat with empty, dirty plate at her placing. A coffee may have been a nice gesture?!? On asking for the bill I was disappointed that while the inedible food had not been charged for, that the management had not even covered a round of drinks, bearing in mind the disaster we had just sat through. On mentioning this at this till, a huge row erupted with the waiter basically calling me a liar and saying there was nothing wrong with the second steak. They had cut it in half in the kitchen and it was pink in the middle. May be worth the staff being advised that when ordering a steak 1. a customer expects to eat all 15oz of his order, not just the best 1oz in the middle. 2. A medium steak generally doesn't look like it has been cremated. 3. That a customer who has visited 9 times previously and never complained about a thing, may be a customer worth retaining, as opposed to arguing with. Things do go wrong in restaurants, good service and hospitality skills can ensure the evening doesn't become a disaster. Shame Just Steak staff don't possess these skills.
