Managed to book a last minute, one night accommodation in a superior double room with breakfast recently, mainly because it was cheapest available in surrounding area. Hotel lobby is tastefully furnished, and reception clerk was friendly and helpful; check in was speedy and there is ample parking. Room was on level one, and overlooking the FAST aircraft museum (and A325) - double glazing with a further sliding glass pane eliminated traffic noise. Room was tastefully appointed; (UK) king sized bed, with a selection of very comfortable pillows, wardrobe, TV and small table. Bathroom had shower over bath (fair water pressure and shower rose). If I had one complaint, it would be that the room was too warm (really good heating). Breakfast consists of breakfast cereals, tea and filter coffee (espresso coffees are available for an extra charge), and fruit juice, leaving you with a selection between either a hot breakfast, or a full continental breakfast. Selected the hot breakfast option - which did not disappoint: eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, beans, hash brown and toast - came out well cooked and piping hot. If I ever had another event in Farnborough, I would look to stay here again.

Such a lovely place, spotlessly clean, lovely staff who make you feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing. I'd definitely go back, highly recommend a stay.

My colleague and I stayed at the Falcon hotel for 2 nights 23rd & 24th March 2018, each of us having a single room. We were extremely disappointed to be informed that the hotel did not provide evening meals and that breakfast was only available after 8.00 am at weekends. As we were in Farnborough to exhibit at a show we asked if it would be possible to have breakfast earlier, but no exceptions could be made. However the receptionist did say he could provide a packed breakfast which we could pick up at 7.15. When we arrived at reception the following morning at 7.00 there was no sign of the receptionist or our breakfasts. After waiting some 20 minutes for someone to appear my colleague phoned the hotel from reception to ask what was going on. Shortly afterwards a member of staff appeared with our meal which had obviously been prepared the night before. We did think being given ham & cheese sandwiches for breakfast was a bit unusual but hey ho they were better than nothing. After this experience we made our own arrangements for breakfast the next day. As for evening meals they were 2 Indian restaurants virtually next door but we chose the Swan about 100 yards away which we found to be excellent. Turning to the rooms mine was on the 1st floor and almost unbearably hot at 26 degrees Centigrade even with fan on and windows open. I also found the hot water to be extremely if not dangerously hot so likely to scald the unwary. In contrast my colleague on the second floor found he could only get tepid water from the hot tap even after running it for 10 minutes. On the positive side we found the receptionist - whose name we never discovered - to be extremely polite and helpful, even if he did let us down on the breakfast front. The hotel itself was clean and in good repair. I don't really think it should be called a hotel, more like a B&B for those with patience and who don't mind being roasted alive at night and can tolerate the idiosyncratic water temperatures. You have been warned! Overall rating 2 out of 10.

Stay there Saturday very warm welcome Staff polite rooms a good size and clean. Food very nice . Will come back.

Lovely place to stay. Reasonable prices. Drinks are not that expensive. Good breakfast. Dtaff very friendly
