Room are good. Service standards are OK. Not very helpful reception staff. Restaurant menus are good. Very lively hotel. Basically a good place to stay, but service standards need to improve.

Did a £69 meal and Friday night deal. Barely any spaces in the car park when we arrived. Check in was smooth. Room was tired and holes in the walls had been filled, but not painted over. Only one pillow each and some kind of metallic paint splashes on the ceiling. Our remote control for the TV didn't work. When we headed for dinner at 19.00 we asked for two more pillows and a new remote. Dinner was nice, not many choices on the set menu though. At 21.00 we returned to the room. Had to ring reception to ask again for pillows and a remote. At approx 22.30 a member of staff appeared with these. The bed was comfortable, the black out blinds were really good. Annoyingly our shower dripped most of the night and when flushing the toilet it took about 15 minutes before the cistern refilling noise stopped! Quite a lot of noise in the corridor, in the morning the housekeepers were talking loudly outside the door. I've stayed before and it was a really positive experience. This time, however, I feel that even on a deal I wouldn't stay again. Room number was 126.

Enjoyable stay. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Very good shower. We had a room over the entrance but is was very quiet. Breakfast was good and lots of staff around to help. Highly recommended.

Service has been fantastic, nothing has been too much. food is phenomenal even though I have only eaten off the set menu. Room is incredibly dark due to paint scheme but that is personal preference. Full sky package in room, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Sports bar and Starbucks downstairs with full gym, swimming pool and sauna included. This is open to public too.

Large hotel, quite modern, decent rooms. Has a nice bar and a Starbucks. Breakfast buffet was the only downside- not a.lot of choice
